Car Chase Edit

In this edit, we edited a car chase scene. First, we were given around 5-10 videos to play around with. Once we had chosen the videos. We edited each clip to match the beat of the song that was in the clips. 

I think my edit is really good this is because my clips cut to the beat and it makes the effective.

Lemonade Beat Task Edit

In this edit, we filmed all different locations around our college and created a small montage to a song of our choice. The song i chose is Lemonade by Internet Money, I chose this song because its fast paced and the beats are a good pace for the edit i created. 

I think this edit could be better, this is because the edit is less than 10 seconds so you cant really get a good feel of the music video. For this reason, I think next time I should spend a bit longer on it and make it a longer video. 

Promiscuous Neon Edit

In this edit, we create a short clip of myself dancing to the song Promiscuous. Once we filmed what we needed to, we put the video into After Effects and created a neon effect around the outline of my body. 

I think this went well, this is because I feel confident I know how to use the neon effect. The only thing that would make this better is if I had extra time to finish the neon edit to the end of the clip. 

Lyric Video Edit

In this edit, we were shown a tutorial of what we had to create. This tutorial was to look like a clip out of a lyric music video. The previous lesson we had to write our name on a piece of paper and take around a 4 second video on our phones and upload to our computer. We then followed the tutorial on how to create the look of the writing floating around the screen on Premiere Pro. 

I think this edit went well. This is because it will be useful if I want to create this look in a music video. Next time, I will make sure I practice with different examples to put onto a music video such as drawing pictures onto paper. 

Stop Motion Edit

In this edit, we were given a small figure for us and another to create a stop motion video. We had a camera and had to tale individual pictures of the object but move the object around every time. Once we completed our story looking pictures. We uploaded them to our computer and imported them into Premiere Pro. We put the pictures in order and made the clips really short so when it all played together, it looked like the figure was moving around. 

I think this edit went really well as we did a long enough video for people watching to understand what's happening. This also is good practice if I wanted to add this into a music video made by myself. 

Music Video Edit

In this edit, we were given a couple of clips of 2 country singers singing together. Our task was to mix and match the videos to create a music video. We edited this video in Premiere Pro. We were also shown how to show both the signers on the screen at the same time with this effect that splits the screen in half so 2 shots can be shown at the same time. 

Overall, I think this edit went really well as I played around with the video a few times so I could make sure it was perfect. I am really happy with this edit as well as the music and lip syncing matches the signers lips perfectly. 

Fast/Slow Motion Edit

In this edit, we were given a clip of a a boy walking into a forest and finding a speaker. We were asked to cut the clip into 3 and change the speed and duration to all of them. 

Overall, I think this edit could of been used better on a different type of video such as a music video. 

Colour Tinting Edit

In this edit, we were given the task to change the colour of the clips we were given. We had to change the colour tints to 3 different colours. This was good as it helped give the effect of the mood changing in the clips throughout the people.

Overall, i think this edit was fun to do because we could experiment with all different colours and we now know how to do this for next time in future edits.
